Instructions:
- Dry brush edges of canvas in pink acrylic paint.
- Stack 2 Lime cardstock and 1 Pink paper together trim back size to 28cm or 11 inches on one side.
- Tear bottom edge of 1 Lime cardstock.
- Tear approx 8cm or 3 inches from bottom of second Lime cardstock.
- Cut 11cm or 4 inch piece of Pink paper.
- Dry brush all non torn edges of cardstock in white acrylic paint.
- Paint the following items with white acrylic paint:
- 3 flourishes and the flourish that looks like a flower stem. 1 full flower, 1 round flower center and the half flower from the Blossom chips.
- When white paint is dry - lightly dry brush edges of flowers in pink.
- ½ cm matt photo (I used 6x6 inch photo) in pink paper on 3 sides - tear bottom approx 6 cm. or 2.5 inches from bottom of photo.
- ½ cm matt again with lime cardstock - 3 sides - tear bottom approx 1 cm.
- ½ cm matt again with pink paper - 3 sides - tear bottom approx 1 cm.
- Wrap white, pink and gingham pink ribbons around the base of matted photo in a criss-cross fashion - secure ribbon at back with adhesive.
- Fold a piece of 18cm or 7 inch gingham pink ribbon in half and attach at the criss-cross section of other ribbons.
- Attach the full flower chip over ribbon joins.
- Attach flower center.
- Add white rub-on words to right side of lime cardstock (words used - Child of my Child)
- Add white rub-on to bottom left corner of second (smaller) lime cardstock. (Words used- Heart of my Heart).
- Attach matted photo to cardstock as close to the words on the right as possible.
- Attach eyelets to both pieces of cardstock along the torn edges - 5 to each piece making sure to line up opposite each other so you can get the lace up effect with the ribbon.
- Loosely thread white ribbon through eyelets adjusting tension until cardstock can lie on canvas giving a ¾ cm or ¼ inch border.
- Attach pink paper to canvas - position this so it will lay behind where the lace up ribbon will lay.
- Once you have tension correct on the laced up cardstock (it may help to position on the canvas with non-permanent adhesive until you have the tension and size correct then flip over and secure ribbon behind to the cardstock so it will not move)
- Attach to the canvas lining up so the pink paper is behind the laced up ribbon plus cardstock has a ¾ cm or ¼ inch border with the canvas.
- Attach the 4 brads to the 4 corners going right through the cardstock and canvas to make sure cardstock is securely fastened to the canvas.
- Attach all chips as per image.
- Attach 2.5 wide white organza ribbon to the outer edge of the canvas - place a small amount of double sided tape to each corner so ribbon stays in place.
- Attach pink ribbon the same way making sure it is in the center of the white organza ribbon.
- Make a small floweret out of left over ribbons to hang from side of canvas and attach.
